곽상욱 오산시장, 중국 충쭤(崇左)시 대표단 환담

곽상욱 오산시장은 지난 7일 오후 집무실에서 중국 충쭤(崇左)시 대표단을 맞아 상호 협력 관계를 위한 환담을 나눴다.

이날 손대광(孫大光) 시장을 비롯한 충쭤시 관계자 7명으로 구성된 방문단은, 곽상욱 시장을 비롯한 오산시 관계자들과 환담을 나누고 오산시의회를 방문해 시의원들을 만났다.

이후 충쭤시 대표단은 오산시 청사를 둘러보고 페트병 재활용업체 등을 방문하며 하루 일정을 소화했다.

충쭤시는 중국 서남부 광서좡족자치구에 있는 인구 240만명의 도시로 19개 소수민족이 거주하고, 중국 3대 폭포 중 하나인 더톈(德天) 폭포 등 주요 관광지가 있으며, 각종 지하자원도 풍부하게 보유하고 있다.

한편 시는 현재 일본 히타카(日高)시·중국 우루무치(烏魯木齊)시·베트남 꽝남성과 자매 결연을 맺고, 대표단 상호방문·투자설명회 개최·소년축구단 교류전 등 다양한 국제 교류 활동을 추진하고 있다.
