용인시, 50가족 기후변화체험교육센터 떡만들기 체험

용인시 기후변화체험교육센터는 가정의 달을 맞아 9일(토) 야외광장에서 인절미 떡을 만들면서 가족애를 느껴보는 특별체험프로그램을 선착순 50가족에게 무료로 실시한다.

인절미 떡 만들기 체험은 인스턴트 식품이 일상화된 사회의 어린이들이 가족과 함께 직접 떡을 만들고 자연건강식품의 소중함을 느끼는 프로그램이다.

참가자들은 절구와 공이, 찐 찹쌀을 받아 직접 떡을 만들고 콩가루를 묻힌 후 시식할 수 있다. 체험은 이날 오전 11시부터 오후 3시경까지 센터 광장에서 진행된다. 참가 희망자들은 전화 접수 또는 센터 앞 광장에서 현장 접수하면 된다.

센터는 지난 5일 어린이날 특별체험프로그램으로 친환경 비누방울 만들기 및 장수풍뎅이 애벌레 분양행사도 실시했다. 알콜 성분이 없는 셀룰로오스를 이용한 친환경 비누방울 만들기와 장수풍뎅이 생태변화 과정을 관찰하도록 투명한 패트병에 애벌레를 담아 분양, 100여명 이상의 참여자들로부터 큰 호응을 얻었다.

시 기후변화체험교육센터는 처인구 동부로 162번길 14(처인구 남동 282번지)에 지상 2층, 9개 체험공간, 26개 시설로 꾸며졌다. 어린이 대상 무료 체험프로그램은 매월 2·4주에 운영되며, 참가 희망자는 용인시홈페이지 → 좌측하단 기후변화체험센터 → 공지사항에서 체험프로그램 주제를 확인하고 전화(339-9111~2) 신청하면 된다.
